NPCIL Recruitment – Eligibility Criteria

A. Age Limit (As on 6th January 2020)

For Scientific Assistant –B

  • Minimum Age – 18 years
  • Maximum Age – 30 years

For Technician-B

  • Minimum Age – 18 years
  • Maximum Age – 25 years

Age Relaxation

  • OBC – 3 years
  • SC/ST – 5 years
  • PWD – 10 years
  • Ex- Servicemen – Period of Military Service + 3 years
  • Women (widowed/divorced/judicially separated and not remarried) – 11 years
  • Ex-NPCL Employees (Fixed/Contract Term Basis) – Maximum of 5 years

Educational Qualification

Scientific Assistant

  • Candidates who have 3 Year Diploma Degree in Related Trade with 60% Marks. will be eligible for these posts.

Technician B

  • Candidates who have passed High School (10th / 12th Exam) with 60% Marks from recognized University will be eligible for these posts.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Analysis 19th Jan 2020: Difficulty Level, Good Attempts

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Analysis & Review 19th January 2020: Today’s IBPS Clerk Mains 2019 exam has now been concluded. You can go through the exam analysis of the IBPS Clerk Main 2019 exam in this post. There were a total of 190 questions in the exam.

HIGHLIGHTS

Level of Overall Exam:

  • Overall, the level of the IBPS Clerk Main Exam was moderate.
  • General Awareness Section was easiest.
  • English Language section was lengthy and moderate.
  • The level of Quantitative Aptitude was moderate and students found that the questions from this section were time-consuming.
  • Logical Reasoning section falls into the level of moderate-difficult, most difficult among all the sections.
  • New pattern questions were introduced in the exam in the English Language section.

IBPS Clerk Main Exam Review: Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude

Number of Questions: 50

1. Puzzles and Seating Arrangement

  • There was a puzzle on circular arrangement, where there were 8 members. The puzzle contained 5 questions.
  • Another was a year-based scheduling puzzle. 5 questions were asked on this topic.
  • Another was a linear puzzle, where there were 8 people facing north and south. There were 5 questions.
  • A box-based puzzle was also asked in the exam, where there were 11 boxes. The puzzle had 5 questions.

2. Syllogism

  • 5 questions were asked.
  • Questions from this topic were based on ‘only a few’ type.

3. Inequality

  • 3-4 Questions were asked.
  • Questions asked were direct and almost all of them were easily doable.

4. Coding-Decoding

  • This was a game-changer in today’s exam.
  • There were 2 sets of Coding-decoding asked in the exam.
  • One set was direction-related, where 5 questions were asked. Each question carried 2 marks.
  • The other set of coding-decoding was based on inequality. Each question of this set carried 1 mark.

5. Data Sufficiency: There were 5 questions of Data Sufficiency.

IBPS Clerk Main Exam Review 2020: Quantitative Aptitude

Number of Questions: 50

1. Data Interpretation

  • There were 5 questions of DI.
  • One was a pie-chart question.
  • Another was a tabular based DI, where there were 5 questions. 
  • Another DI was based on profit and loss.
  • There were 2 questions on caselet DI. 

2. Data Sufficiency

  • 2-3 questions were asked on this topic.

3. Quadratic Inequalities: No questions of Quadratic equations were asked.

4.Approximation: There were 5 questions of approximation.

5. Miscellaneous Questions

  • The rest of the questions were asked from miscellaneous topics, such as Mixture & Alligation, Age-based problems. Partnership, Time & Work, Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Train based problems, etc.

IBPS Clerk Main Exam Review: English Language

Number of Questions: 40

1. Reading Comprehension

  • 3 set of RC passage was asked.
  • The first DI was based on education, from where 4 questions were asked.
  • The other one was based on AI Technology demerits, which has 5 questions.
  • The last passage was based on coffee theme.

2. Para Jumbles

  • There were 4-5 questions of Para Jumbles.

3. Phrase Replacement

  • There were 5 questions of Phrase Replacement.

4. Word Exchange:

  • New pattern questions were seen in the paper.
  • There were 4 sentences. Each sentence was divided into 2 parts. They had to be exchanged.

5. Error Detection:

  • 4-5 questions of error detection were asked.

6. Sentence Rearrangement: 4-5 questions of Sentence Rearrangement were there in the paper.

7. Fill in the Blanks:

  • 5 questions were asked.
  • There were 3 statements. 1 blank in each, which had to be filled with the same word.

8. Miscellaneous: Other miscellaneous questions were asked.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Review: General/Financial Awareness Section Review

Number of Questions: 50

  • There were few questions from static GK.
  • Some questions were from financial awareness.
  • Maximum questions were asked from Current Affairs, the maximum number of questions were from November & December. 
  • 1-2 questions were from August month.

RBI Assistant Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2020

RBI Assistant Selection Process

RBI Assistant 2020 Exam will be conducted in three phases:

  • • Preliminary Exam
  • • Mains Exam
  • • Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

RBI Assistant 2020 has a specific syllabus for all the sections asked in both preliminary examination and mains examination. The major sectionscovered are:

  • • English Language
  • • Quantitative Aptitude and
  • • Reasoning
  • These above mentioned three sections are the common sections asked in both preliminary exam and mains exam. An additional section of General Awareness and Computer Knowledge is asked in Mains Exam apart from the above mentioned three sections.
